What’s the difference between Advil® Menstrual Pain and Midol® Complete or Pamprin®?

Advil® Menstrual Pain contains a powerful non-drowsy pain reliever that targets the cause of tough cramps, plus it relieves backache, and headache. What do Advil® Menstrual Pain tablets look like?

The tablet is the same shape as regular Advil®, but is lighter in color and has “msp” on the tablet.

How are Advil® Menstrual Pain tablets different from regular Advil® Tablets?

In addition to a thinner tablet coating, Advil® Menstrual Pain tablets have a core of ibuprofen sodium – a salt form of ibuprofen, that dissolves differently from standard ibuprofen (which is in Advil® Tablets). As a single ingredient menstrual pain reliever, Advil® Menstrual Pain gives you the strength of a powerful pain reliever without other ingredients like caffeine and antihistamines that can provide unwanted side effects.
